Safety is a vital part of every Ford’s construction, and your vehicle is built to the highest standards. These standards are matched by a superior warranty that provides you with the protection you deserve. As your Ford dealer, we want to tell you about the type of protection you receive with the 2024 Ford Warranty.
Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage
Most of your new Ford’s components are covered by this warranty. If your Ford is correctly operated and develops any issue caused by a material or labor fault, this will be corrected by an authorized dealer at no charge. It applies for the first three years or 36,000 miles. Some situations, like accidental damage, damage from unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear damage are not covered by this warranty.
Your tires are also protected by this warranty. If you have a defective tire, there is no labor cost for its replacement. The cost of the replacement tire is covered in full by the warranty if it occurs in the first year and pro-rated for the remaining two years.
Powertrain Warranty
Your engine, transmission, and drivetrain, whether FWD, RWD, or AWD, have extended warranty protection that applies for the first five years or 60,000 miles. All protected components are listed in your warranty booklet and include all internal lubricated engine components, the transmission and all internal components, and your axle shafts.
Power Stroke Diesel Warranty
If your Ford has a diesel engine, the engine and all its components are protected by this extended-duration warranty. It covers your engine against any manufacturing issue for five years or 100,000 miles.
Hybrid/Electric Unique Components Warranty
If your vehicle is a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, it has an advanced electrical drivetrain system. This system includes many unique components, like a battery energy control module and a battery energy control module. These specialized components are protected for eight years or 100,000 miles. Your high-voltage battery is also covered by this warranty with one exception.
The high-voltage battery will slowly lose storage capacity over time. This is a naturally occurring process in any battery and is not considered as a defect covered by warranty.
Safety Restraint Coverage
Your seatbelts, airbags, and all parts of their activation systems are protected against defects for five years or 60,000 miles.
Corrosion Warranty
Corrosion can rapidly cause massive damage to unprotected metal. Your Ford has specialized protective coatings applied during the construction process to protect all its metal sections against corrosion. If corrosion appears despite this protection, the affected metal section will be replaced at no charge. Corrosion protection applies for five years and unlimited mileage.
