We’d like to give recognition, as one of our own, Mike Monaco, co-owner, and General Manager of Monaco Ford, is a veteran who served honorably. His dedication to our nation’s ideals and his unwavering commitment to supporting fellow veterans inspire us all. Mike serves as Vice Chairman of the Veteran Service Commission of Glastonbury and was elected Commandant in 2016 of the Peter P. Monaco Jr Detachment, as of 2020 he is now the JR Past Commandant. He is also member of the VFW Post 12150.
Mike strategically assisted in growing the Detachment 40 program from almost nonexistent, to 160+ members. He also chairs The Hike to Remember which has successfully raised over $400,000 in the past 8 years.
